Dear Dad, is a photomontage film documenting the raw moments of me understanding and reflecting the time my father first went to prison. The photos show a range of moments from inside of the jails visitation area the the letters I received from my father. The video has a narration of me reading a letter I wrote to my father, but never sent. This letter would be the first time I had outwardly expressed my feelings about my father and my coming to terms with how I actually feel about the trauma of him leaving.
